As Director of Spa Operations, DeFontes is responsible for the design plan, development of spa services and treatments, hiring, training and managing the 10,000 square foot Spa Epoché at Marriott’s Renaissance Hotel at Patriot Place, Foxboro, Massachusetts. Prior to joining the Colwen Management team, DeFontes served as Director of Spa Operations, Training and Development for a four location medical Day Spa company SpaVure in the Providence, Rhode Island area. Prior to this DeFontes was Spa Director at the Phoenician Resorts Centre for Well-Being, Spa Director at the Claremont Resort, Berkley, California, and Spa Director at Marriott’s Desert Springs Resort in Palm Desert, California. DeFontes brings 22 years of Spa Management success to Spa Epoché and the Renaissance Hotel. About Renaissance Hotel & Spa at Patriot Place Renaissance Hotel & Spa at Patriot Place is opening May 2009.
