Rita Matta, Sales and Revenue Coordinator

Rita Matta’s career started prior to graduating from UMASS Boston, at the Boston Newton Marriott. Over her eleven year period there, she transitioned from concierge attendant, to guest service agent, to At Your Service
supervisor and eventually was promoted to assistant front desk manager. These stepping stones have led Matta to her current position as the primary sales and revenue coordinator at the Renaissance Hotel & Spa at Patriot Place.

Matta solidified her priority of making people feel “at home away from home” by securing her degree in management and hotel marketing. “Hospitality has always been a first and foremost desire for me, and was an integral part of my upbringing - it was fitting that I establish a career in the hotel industry.” Matta explains passionately about her role.
